HOW IT WORKS

GRIDIRON’s patented small-scale distributed power units provide “base-load” power up to total load, operating continuously to meet the power demand 24/7. The software systems enables remote monitoring. GRIDIRON can lower demand charges by 30 – 70%.

Unlike a backup generator, PowerPlant is your primary power source and runs continuously to produce electricity and heat fueled by clean natural gas, renewable natural gas, or propane. GRIDIRON engines are purposely built for continuous CHP (combined heat and power) operations with minimum service required. The micro combined heat and power units (mCHP) produce electricity to power your business, while captured heat gets repurposed for hot water, hot air, or other processes requiring heat.
